“Harsnadzor” accommodation and restaurant service is located in the village of Halidzor, Syunik region of Armenia. It presents a unique accommodation in wooden barrel houses situated on the road to Tatev Monastery complex and the longest reversible aerial tramway in the world, i.e. “Wings of Tatev” and has amazing picturesque views of the mountains and beautiful nature of the area. The barrel houses are located next to the forest, aside the Vorotan river canyon and this makes the neighborhood calm, relaxing and incredible. The site is rich with trees (cornel, hawthorn, walnut, herbs such as thyme, melissa, etc.), and the initial appearance of it has been preserved, thus, one can fully enjoy the surrounding nature of the location. Harsnadzor is located right next to the main road leading to Tatev Monastery (not far from Harsnadzor watchtower, a sightseeing place of the area) and there are signboards next to the road.

“Harsnadzor” offers 6 barrel houses with 21 total guest places (two double barrel houses, one triple barrel house, two quadruple barrel houses and one 6-place barrel house). It has cold-hot water, 2 shared bathrooms for all the houses, a washing machine, refrigerator, it features free Wi-Fi and private parking zone. Items for hygiene (shampoo, soap, towels) are provided.

Owners of the “Harsnadzor” B&B have a car and can organize trips with a guide for their guests to Tatev Monastery complex, Tatev Mets Anapat, Devil’s Bridge, Harsnadzor watchtower and other sightseeing places of the area or to the nearby Vorotan river canyon to go fishing or to swim in the river. One can also walk in the alleys among the houses and access the open-air pavilions for having breakfast or other meals. Full relaxation can be achieved at the B&B in the rural noiseless atmosphere.

All-organic breakfast is offered every day here made from local rural food (honey, home-made butter, milk, eggs, etc.). As for other meals, guests can prepare these for themselves in the shared kitchen (there is also a barbeque facility provided) or try the homemade local Armenian food offered in the restaurant part of Harsnadzor (guests can also watch the process of the preparing of meals). The food can also be served in the open air – at the pavilions (which together can accommodate up to 300 people at a time).
