Ureni Bed and Breakfast is located in the village of Shinuhayr, Syunik region of Armenia, which is situated on the road to Tatev Monastery complex and the longest reversible aerial tramway in the world, i.e. “Wings of Tatev”. Ureni B&B can be reached easily since it is situated next to the main highway. Ureni B&B provides 5 guest rooms with 10 total guest places. It offers cable TV, cold-hot water, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, refrigerator. Items for hygiene (shampoo, soap, towels) are provided. This guesthouse features internet and a parking zone. The owners of the B&B have a big orchard not far from the B&B where the following organic fruits can be picked and tasted by the guests: pear, apple, grape, cherry, mulberry, etc.

Owners of the Ureni B&B have a car and can organize trips to Tatev Monastery complex, Tatev Mets Anapat, Devil’s Bridge, Harsnadzor watchtower and other sightseeing places of the area. They can also be guides for their guests since they know the history of the region and its sightseeing places very well. One can also spend time at the B&B playing chess, backgammon, cards, watching how homemade vodka or wine is made locally. Full relaxation can be achieved at the B&B in the rural noiseless atmosphere.

All-organic breakfast is offered every day here. As for other meals, guests can prepare these for themselves in the shared kitchen (there is also a barbeque facility provided by the B&B) or try the homemade local Armenian food offered by the B&B (the products grown at the orchard are also used to make the meals). The food can also be served in the open air – at the next-door pavilion (which accommodates up to 30 people at a time) or at the balcony.
