Vachik’s Bed and Breakfast is located in the small village of Tandzatap, Syunik region of Armenia, which is 5.5 km drive from Tatev Monastery complex and the longest reversible aerial tramway in the world, i.e. “Wings of Tatev”. The road to the village is very beautiful, with amazing sceneries and, most importantly, the traditional full look of Tatev Monastery is seen from this road, thus, lovers of hiking can even cross the road by foot. The village is situated in the canyon of Tatev river, and has amazing views, there is an old church, as well as a water-mill down in the canyon, which can be easily reached by foot, and which are amazing sightseeing places of Tandzatap village.

Vahick’s B&B provides 5 guest rooms with 17 total guest places. It offers cable TV, internet, cold-hot water, 2 shared bathrooms, washing machine, refrigerators. Items for hygiene (shampoo, soap, towels) are provided. There is an orchard in front of the B&B where the following organic fruits/vegetables can be picked and tasted by the guests: apple, pear, cornel, mulberry, walnut, hazelnut, beans, potato, pumpkin, onion, etc. Owners of the Vachik’s can also be guides for their guests since they know the history of the region and its sightseeing places very well. In the One can also spend time at the B&B playing chess, backgammon, etc. Full relaxation can be achieved at the B&B in the rural noiseless atmosphere.

All-organic breakfast is offered every day here. As for other meals, guests can prepare these for themselves in the shared kitchen (there is also a barbeque facility provided by the B&B with wood) or try the homemade local Armenian food offered by the B&B (the products grown at the orchard are also used to make the meals). The food can also be served in the open air – at the orchard or at the balcony.
